On X, users are creating some of the funniest internet material, even with a 280 character constraint. And what about it isn’t it wonderful? The posts are humorous, brief, and sweet—all of which perfectly appeal to our attention spans, which seem to be getting shorter by the minute.

We’re displaying the greatest funny stuff on X from the Instagram account “Omg Story Time” today as a small reward for working hard this week. To locate them, keep scrolling, and don’t forget to upvote the ones that gave you the biggest belly laugh.

Check out our interview with stand-up comedians Shaun Eli and Jeremy Nunes, who graciously volunteered to share some thoughts on how and why X came to be known as a humorous content hub, while you’re at it.

We spoke with stand-up comedian Shaun Eli, who has been dubbed one of America’s smartest comics, to gain professional perspective on why X (previously Twitter) is a place where hilarious people flourish.

He thinks there are two primary causes behind the abundance of amusing content on the social media network. First, he states, “Com comedians can get noticed and have their content shared (or stolen, for that matter) on this widely used platform.”

    4.

    6.

“It’s easy enough to type your thoughts so anybody can find an audience for their content, pro comics, or anybody else,” he says in his second suggestion.

Jeremy Nunes, a fellow stand-up comedian and author of the humorous book “You Can’t Write City Hall,” concurs that it’s more simpler and quicker for people to reach their audience on X, regardless of type.

You can become involved with those organisations and influencers if you want to be the person who cracks jokes and stands up for vegetarians. You can actively engage with those groups and influencers if you wish to do the same for the carnivore demographic. In the same way, you can locate those organisations to harass and troll.”

    9.

He goes on to say, “In general, the algorithm learns what kinds of information you interact with most frequently and shows you more of it. Rather than requiring you to change channels while watching TV, Twitter anticipates your preferences and provides them to you. Twitter seems to be the father who genuinely wants his child to adore him—he’s providing all the things the child might ask for!”

Eli says there are similarities between written and spoken comedy, similar to what he does on X, such as saving the best part of the punchline for last—the surprise. If you want to make people laugh, whether you’re performing on X or a stand-up stage, this element is crucial.

    13.

     Tweets

    14.

    15.

“Once people get the joke, you’re done; anything you say after that is just going to be an interruption.” Eli claims that nearly every punchline can be changed to ensure that it concludes with a genuine surprise.

    18.

While there may not be a magic bullet that teaches individuals how to write amusing tweets, understanding the fundamental structure of jokes could be helpful. Typically, it consists of two parts—the punchline, which Eli has previously discussed, and the setup.

The joke’s subject is introduced in the former, and it takes an unexpected turn in the latter, as was previously mentioned. Puns and other word games are another method of achieving a humorous effect in written jokes.

    19.

    20.

    21.

Actually, according to Nunes, X functions similarly to humour in general. “Just like standup, you have to be succinct and to the point because to the character constraint. It functions in the same way as when my kid explains how he got into difficulties. I must say, “Ok, let’s fast forward to the part where you got sent to the principal’s office.”

    22.

    23.

    24.

     Tweets

Regarding X’s future, Eli thinks it won’t be the same as it was in the past and isn’t going to be the same for humorous material. “I believe that as time goes on, Twitter will serve less and less as a place for humour, serving instead as a platform for the spread of false information and hate speech. For that reason, professional comedians that I know have ceased posting there.

    25.

Nunes, though, is still optimistic. “It will expand, and their leadership will figure out special ways to make it happen. Never once would I wager against Elon Musk. Musk would never bet against the Washington Generals in my opinion.

    10. This sign that chose the worst word to be illegible:

This sign creates a communication dilemma because it uses the terrible term “illegible” to describe something that is difficult to read. The irony is that the term used to characterise the low readability itself is not well seen. The outcome is a frustrating and funny turn of events when the meaning of the sign is mistranslated. The sign’s own ineffectiveness is exacerbated by the fact that it fails to make the intended impression. This amusing blunder transforms a straightforward signpost mistake into a noteworthy instance of inadvertent comedy.

25 Unsolved Mysteries That Still Keep People Up At Night

Have you ever had the impression that someone or something is observing you even while you are alone? Alternatively, perhaps you’ve had an odd experience that, no matter how many times you play it back in your mind, just doesn’t make sense. Many people enjoy mysteries, but sometimes they become so engrossed in them that they can’t sleep at night.

These unsettling incidents often stay with you for a very long time and give you shivers whenever you think back on them. We have 33 eerie tales that show that, occasionally, the real world is indeed stranger than fiction.

    1.

    Mysteries

I had a whole day lost. Friday night I went to bed, and Sunday morning I woke up. There was no sign of any disturbance, no activity on my phone, and no proof that I had even existed the day before. It didn’t happen again, and I felt fantastic. After torturing my brain over this for ten years, I’m going to give up and assume it’s alien activity.

After torturing my brain over this for ten years, I’m going to give up and assume it’s alien activity.

    3.

    Mysteries

Though I’m a strong sceptic, I used to participate in a “12 days of Christmas” tradition as a kid, where we would doorbell ditch neighbourhoods and leave themed gifts for the residents. This occurred in Arizona’s north. While turning into a neighbourhood at the edge of the desert, my buddies and I were in the truck’s bed when we noticed a man crouching just under the street light at the end of a dead end. I thought right away that he was homeless, but I didn’t understand why they were so far out of town. Then I saw that he was only a dark silhouette because he was crouching *directly* under the light.

Can you picture going to bed on a Friday night and then not remembering or seeing anything from the day that was missing when you wake up on Sunday? You seem to have disappeared for a full day. One netizen claims that’s exactly what happened to them, and it still chills them. Perhaps aliens? Whatever it was, we would be thrilled to see it as a movie.

Mysteries captivate people, and fortunately, there are many excellent ones available. These accounts, whether attributed to strange coincidences or some kind of ghostly appearance, often stay with the individuals who experience them for a very long time.

Similar to how a couple can’t seem to figure out why they spotted people dancing on the beach, just to have them vanish in an instant. Some doubters may argue that environmental elements like infrasound or even carbon monoxide poisoning, which can result in hallucinations, are to blame for these experiences. However, those beach dancers were as authentic as it got for our pair.

    4.

In my dream, I was with two women in an Irish airport. Both were unique in ways that I had never seen, but neither was the other. One had shock blond hair and was extremely bird-like, while the other was heavy-set and had a bandana on her head. I recall questioning why I had been dreaming about it. Either way, I recorded it in my dream notebook. We had dinner at an Italian place with a neon sign that said “spaghetti and meatballs.”

After about five years, I’m dispatched on an emergency trip to address a problem at a site in Ireland when I’m not in school. It was entertaining even if the network was down and the HPux box wouldn’t boot up.

    5.

I went to dinner with my closest friend and her partner. I had severe breathing difficulties, a rapid heartbeat, a cold sweat, and other symptoms all of a sudden, so they took me to the hospital. The symptoms disappeared as quickly as they had appeared after approximately one and a half hours, and the doctors were unable to uncover anything.

I stopped thinking about it until my uncle discovered my mother two days later. She had clearly been strangled while eating supper; we all assumed she had a lot on her plate because she hadn’t answered the phone in a few days. When she declined his invitation to spend New Year’s Eve with him, he made the decision to take care of her.

Since there wasn’t a “Natural Death” (I’m not sure if this is the appropriate term in English). A coroner had to examine her, which implies that there COULD have been other parties involved. He specified only “two days ago, somewhere between 7 and 11 p.m.” as the time of death.

You probably guessed that I visited the hospital at that period of time because my symptoms resembled hers quite a bit.

    6.

    Mysteries

This occurred in the early 2000s. Along with wine and munchies, my flatmate and I were watching TV. She stood up and went to get more food from the kitchen. We were having a party when she turned around, and I instantly looked around. There was an elaborate arrangement with tall tables below and a fully stocked bar, and a large number of individuals. All of a sudden, I was hosting guests and serving refreshments, and it was just like any other night. My roommate and I were watching TV in our sweatpants, enjoying wine and snacks in the living room.

But why do some people find riddles to be so fascinating? I suppose that’s just the way our minds operate. You see, the brain is wired to seek for patterns and answers, so when we encounter anything that defies simple classification, it throws us for a loop.

For the same reason that films on true crime and the paranormal are so well-liked these days. They protect us from the unknown while providing us with a small thrill and satisfying our need to investigate it. Some of these tales, however, go beyond mere curiosity and address more profound anxieties, such as what occurs after death or whether we are actually alone in the cosmos.

    7.

My dad has had Parkinson’s disease for more than 20 years. Parkinson’s disease impairs your gait, which results in shuffling as you try to move, as seen in the opening scene of this video. Sadly, my dad was a very unyielding person, and he never paid attention to the advice the physicians gave him on how to walk correctly. He would attempt to walk (without the use of a walker), but his gait would always be a fast one. He would then lose balance and land hard on his knees. Then he would stand up, begin to shuffle once more, thud to his knees, and so on, until at last he began to walk.

    8.

Down the street from us, my sister and I used to play with two neighbourhood siblings when I was around four or five years old. Before they moved out, we did this for around two years. To be honest, I was so young that I completely forgot about them.

When I was an older adolescent, maybe 12–14 years later, I was returning home from college and attending a small fair or carnival-style event. Suddenly, a thought crossed my mind, “I wonder what happened to my old friends down the street I used to play with.”

    9.

    Mysteries

My sister and I were in the kitchen together when we were in high school, and I believe I have shared this tale before. I took three eggs out of the fridge and set them on the counter since I was going to make a cake. I turned my back on the eggs so I could speak with my sister. The sound of the eggs falling down the counter and hitting the floor was audible to both of us. The eggs were back on the counter, just sitting there, even though both of us were shaking our heads at the same moment. The only paranormal event I have ever had. So little, yet so strange.

A recurring motif in these strange tales is the appearance of a shadowy or ghostly apparition. Can you picture being at home with someone staring at you and then realising that nobody is in the house with you? One Redditor described exactly what happened to them on a typical evening at home. I’m not sure about you, but that seems like a real-life horror film to us.

Approximately one-third of Americans, according to study, think that ghosts exist, and many of them claim to have had personal experiences with them. Despite scientific evidence suggesting that the brain misinterprets shadows in dim light, those who have seen similar phenomena are adamant that what they witnessed was genuine.

    10.

I work in security. frequently regulating gate entry, frequently after dark.

For those of you who don’t know, a gated entry often consists of a modest concrete shack with numerous windows allowing you to observe the surrounding area.

I’m in a warehouse in the middle of nowhere one night. The warehouse employees had all left for the evening. There are no other people in miles. I’m lounging and watching films at the moment.

I look up and see someone passing by behind my shack in the mirror on the glass.

I turn and glance out the window. I see no one. Examine the views from each window. Get up, walk outside, and explore the area. Play back the video; it shows nothing and no one.

spoke with other guards who had been assigned to that location for the night. It had happened to everyone at some point.

I continued to work the site for two years, putting in a lot of overtime. There were occasional nighttime reflections of that ghost.

Our unofficial night shift motto, “If you see something strange, no you didn’t,” came up as a result.

    11.

was employed in a restaurant serving a family (husband, wife, and daughter) on the Las Vegas Strip. I was reminded of my dad by something about the man’s mouth and goatee. I brought this up. In any case, my dad has five other siblings that he has never met and was adopted by his dad (who is not biological). I had no idea my uncle had even existed until I met him. The best thing I have ever experienced.

    12.

Something that always seems so unlikely, but not terrifying or inexplicable. On my birthday, I took a leave of absence and went to the beach. Something shiny out on the sea drew my attention. It was literally driven to me, while I watched. Almost to my feet, a partially inflated mylar balloon washed up. I think I had to walk ten feet. “Happy Birthday,” it said. It was quite bizarre. Only two months had passed after my grandmother’s death. It was rather an odd coincidence.

    13.

    Mysteries

Many years ago, my parents and I were quietly watching TV in the living room when there was a loud crash coming from the kitchen.

We thought we would be rushing up the road after the idiot who had bricked our kitchen window when we dashed out there.

However, the window was still in place, and no heavy pan had fallen off the hooks or shelves or slipped off the burner.
Everything appeared precisely as it should have.

That is, until we opened a certain cabinet that had different stacks of plates, etc.

    14.

My spouse and I once stayed at a seaside hotel with a view of the beach. We were sitting on the porch staring out at the ocean far into the night, maybe between two and four in the morning. Along the sand, something odd began to move. At first, it was hazy and transparent, making it difficult to see, but after a minute or two, it became clearly visible as two people dancing together.
A cloud of blue, bright, swirling vapour would appear, but it would dissipate and then reassemble into the dancing human forms.

    15.

On New Year’s Eve, everyone—including the neighbours next door—was eating supper and reminiscing about loved ones who had passed away when all of a sudden, there was a lot of stomping and running up the stairs. The children began to wail as we all stopped and stared, so my mother ordered my uncle and I go up to see what was going on. Even though I couldn’t see anything, I had a terrible feeling of fear and shivers. We are all unable to explain it.

Then there are instances where individuals hear or experience unexplainable phenomena, such as ghostly footsteps or weird voices. Similar to how, even though they were alone at home, one netizen heard their late dad’s familiar footfall. When he was alive, they had heard this identical sound every day. I’m not sure what else could convince you to believe in the hereafter if that doesn’t already.

This is frequently attributed by paranormal researchers to residual energy left behind in specific locations—a theory made famous by documentaries and ghost-hunting shows. That doesn’t make it any less weird, whatever it is.

    16.

My 2.5-year-old pug, Rex, became seriously ill in middle school from what we eventually discovered to be pug encephalitis. For several days, he had been in and out of the emergency veterinarian due to convulsions and lack of personality. But he was home with us when all of this was going on. I went to visit him at the veterinarian in a dream I experienced a few days after he fell ill. In my dream, after greeting me in the lobby, a technician led him into a room that was flooded with bright white light.

I woke up as soon as he disappeared from view, looked at the time, realised it was 2:37 am, and went back to sleep. My mom was standing by my bed when I woke up that morning, and I knew right away that Rex was gone.

After I went to bed, I learnt that he had been sent to the emergency veterinarian once more since he was experiencing worsening health and required an overnight stay. A few hours later, my mom received a call telling her to head to the hospital right once since her father was not getting better. He died immediately after she got there, at precisely 2:37 in the morning.

Even though Rex was in a hospital miles away, we later learnt from our neighbours that their dog, who was buddies with Rex, became quite restless and began wailing about the time he passed away.

Since I felt like I had one final chance to see him before dad died away, I want to believe that this dream was him saying goodbye to me. It really helped me through the grieving process. It’s more stranger because I have never had an encounter even similar to this one!

    17.

    Mysteries

This story may not be as bizarre as others, but it still happened. We hadn’t revealed the baby’s name to anyone, but our wife is expecting. We had recently chosen the name, which wasn’t very popular. Nobody had been informed.

We had a three-year-old named Tommy who we had a babysitter come watch for us on a date night. The babysitter was just chit-chatting and somehow predicted the name of our pregnant child. “When baby Abby comes, she will love to play with Tommy,” she remarked. She could not have known that the baby would be named Abby. I’m shivering! When I enquired how, she explained that sometimes she just knows things. Wild, psychic babysitter.

    18.

Just spending a few days with my grandmother, I stayed with her. My fiancé and I were sharing her guest room. We continued to feel quite anxious and to have strange, frightening dreams. I used to have these nighttime dreams and glimpses of a malevolent guy and lady that seemed to be hiding in the shadows.

I remember being asleep one night when I suddenly felt like someone was choking me with a hand over my mouth and nose. I pinch the s**t out of my partner because, in my groggy condition, I believed he was being odd (he does crazy things while he sleeps, but suffocating is not one of them, lol). He yelled in anguish, causing us both to completely awaken.

    19.

My mum would spend the weekdays with me and my dad the weekends when I was a child.

When I was maybe eleven or twelve years old, I once dreamed—while staying at my dad’s—that my mother’s house had been broken into and stolen.

I can very clearly recall seeing black trashbags on the windows where they smashed in during my dream.

There were black trash bags on the windows when my dad dropped me off at my mother’s house.

I had the creepiest feeling when I dreamed of the black trashbags—Mom locked herself out and had to break in. It wasn’t a robber.

    20.

    Mysteries

Texas, not far from Louisiana, is where I grew up. I was about eleven years old, playing in my grandmother’s driveway with my younger sister and cousin. A “bird” (or something similar) spanned the driveway, which could hold two automobiles, and its shadow extended several feet on either side in addition to the driveway’s entire width. I was being yelled at by my grandma to go get the infants. We all picked up a child and ran in. She looked pale and was trembling, so I asked her what was wrong. She stated that she had never seen anything and didn’t know. My grandmother is a very down-to-earth and pragmatic individual. What was flying over her driveway is still a mystery to me. I think about it for a moment.

    21.

My companion and I made the decision to camp in a secluded section of the forest one summer. We both awoke on the second night to the sound of footsteps circling our tent. The steps were too heavy and deliberate for anything other than an animal, as we assumed. Abruptly, there was a loud knocking sound, as if someone was striking a nearby tree with a stick. When we called out, nobody answered. The noises stopped after a few tense minutes. We saw human footprints circling our campground the following morning, but they went nowhere. It still gives me the chills because we were never able to identify who or what was out there.

    22.

    Mysteries

I needed a team of experts to treat a major health issue that I was experiencing. My parents decided not to accompany me as I would spend most of the time consoling them because it was so horrible to hear the worst case possibilities.

A day after I turned down a hospital Chaplin counselling offer, My whole body started to feel really heated. It felt soothing, like a warm blanket and a voice in my head assuring me that everything will be alright. It wasn’t hot or uncomfortable. I had to close my eyes and hold my chest because I was so desperate to cry. I was the most serene and consoling thing I’ve ever seen.

    23.

I owned this action figure of a paratrooper when I was younger. I noticed rumbling sounds coming from my desk one night. The thing was standing up, and even though it was dark, I could see it quickly turning its head to look at me.

I cowered down behind my covers in fear. I was unable to locate the action figure the following day. My folks even assisted me in my search for it. It was permanently lost.

People never trust me when I say it’s “Toy Story” or whatever, but this kind of sh*t scared me.

    24.

I used to detest getting my hair cut, and when I was around 7 or 8 years old, my dad promised to do it the next day.
Time travel: I was resting on my stomach in bed at roughly nine o’clock at night. That being said, I had a plastic Darth Vader mask hanging on the head of my bed post. For some reason, as I was trying to fall asleep, I lifted my head and glanced at the back of the mask. There, I saw a reflection of a blacked-out masculine figure with long hair that reached its shoulders, standing at the foot of my bed with a pair of scissors that it was opening and shutting.

    Mysteries

It’s a lengthy story, and no matter how quickly I attempt to summarise it and pinpoint why it’s so strange, it only becomes longer.

Long tale short, that is… Once, after checking my phone and putting it in my pocket, I went through a door, over ten feet of deserted sidewalk, to a car, and then I lost my phone. I searched all over, but it’s gone. As I approach the end of my drive, two automobiles and one town later, it falls onto the seat from above the passenger seat headrest.

33 Hilarious And Relatable Memes That Most Of Us Can Relate To

One of the primary foundations of internet culture is jokes and memes. Furthermore, despite the niche nature of some content, everyone can find something on the internet to make them laugh or at least chuckle.

Take the humour surrounding the difficulties faced by girls in this environment. Even though there is a tonne of material available online, people are nonetheless interested in this subject. This category also includes the page that we are currently viewing. Not only does it fit in, but it does it quite well.

You’ve probably heard or seen the “I’m just a girl” debate if you’ve spent any time online. Bored Panda spoke with Gerda, a frequent internet user, about these girlie trends.

When we refer to “girly trends,” we mean things like “girl dinner,” “girl math,” and so on. The latter is a humorous depiction of women’s munching habits, while the former is just a fun way to defend your spending habits.

Gerda claimed to have observed every trend on social media. She didn’t share videos of herself participating in them publicly, but she still liked to watch them. “I enjoyed the light-hearted videos and the straightforward idea of having fun in a ‘girly’ way.”

Discussions concerning the trends’ potential harm began soon after they emerged. People began to remark that the way women were portrayed was insensitive and childish, and that this demeaning portrayal caused young girls to internalise these negative feelings and believe that being a girl is ridiculous.

Some claimed that they incite women to make bad choices, which they then cover up with the excuse that “I’m just a girl.” Well, there were a lot of similar criticisms levelled about the patterns. However, not everyone believed that they were intrinsically evil.

Some perceived them as harmless online pranks amongst ladies. However, others also perceived it as a return to girlhood. Many of them grew up in a culture that disregarded girlie things as shallow, infantile, and unworthy of notice. Women basically lost the pleasures of being a girl. They now wish to take it back.

Pop culture events like Taylor Swift’s “The Eras Tour” and the movie “Barbie” both use and popularise the concept of girlhood. Here, Swift’s concert attendees expressed that they felt free to “unabashedly be girls.”

Gerda, our interviewee, reflected on the summer of last year, when the Barbie movie was at its most popular. “I recall that we attended the premiere. A large number of individuals were eager to see the movie and were dressed in pink. It was enjoyable and felt great. There, I felt secure.

As long as they’re not overdone, she said, none of these girlie fads seem to be really bad. “I find them enjoyable if they’re straightforward, like they were first. Only when individuals begin to overthink things and delve much too far into them does the fun end.

The X page “ovary ” or @ovaryactorr serves as a sort of poster child for the frilly tendencies. The majority of jokes shared on this account are realistic quips. For instance, taking care of your mental health, hanging out with friends, and cleaning your room.

As a teenager, Gerda claimed that she mostly liked humour about real-life situations, such memes about hanging out with friends, overcoming obstacles in the classroom, navigating the internet, and trying to figure out who she is in today’s world. She added that she will never get tired of funny animal-related content.

The “ovary” page, then, at least somewhat fits Gerda’s preferences. These blogs have a twist that helps them appeal to women and girls even more than their familiar subjects. Furthermore, based on the page’s design and name—which alludes to a female reproductive organ—it is reasonable to assume that women are its intended audience.

That doesn’t mean that these jokes aren’t funny to other people. They are able to. They can also choose which jokes to upvote by selecting them!

For the remainder of the week, let this compilation of the best Wednesday memes on the internet fuel your enthusiasm. Why Taking an Extra Midweek Break Would Be Beneficial for All of Us
It’s crucial to stop and take a break when you’re having a busy week. Your body and mind will appreciate it. Sometimes the doctor says that you need to take a break.

Our brains must fight the urge to zone out or doom-scrolling when we labour or study hard. Researchers Sabine Sonnentag, Laura Venz, and Anne Casper claim that this type of acute focus is mostly caused by the prefrontal cortex in their paper “Advances in Recovery Research: What Have We Learnt? 2017 saw the publication of “What Should Be Done Next?” in the Journal of Occupational Health Psychology (1).

When Is the Best Time to Book Your Wednesday Off?
More than you may realise, the time of your break is important. In 2023, Zarah Lyubykh and Duygu Biricik Gulseren write in a story for the Harvard Business Review that longer breaks are more advantageous in the late afternoon, whereas shorter breaks work better in the morning (2).

It also makes a tonne of sense. We become more and more exhausted during the workday, therefore we require a longer afternoon break to recover. Take a little break on Wednesday mornings, then. Then, tack on a few extra minutes to get past work hours.

Wednesdays and frogs: what’s the deal?
According to Fausta Kepaliene’s 2018 Technology article, Wednesday memes popularised the frog in 2014. (3). “It’s Wednesday, my guys,” was the text accompanying the first photographs in the meme, which featured the Budgetts frog.

After doing some investigation, Kepaliene claims that the Budgetts frog’s qualities make it a suitable mascot for Wednesdays. It’s a funny species with a big mouth and head that is intelligent. Additionally, it is able to adapt well to its surroundings and endure a variety of adverse conditions, much like us Wednesday warriors. Funny and wise, frogs are resilient creatures.

  • Real Moments When People Got Exactly What They Deserved

Real Moments When People Got Exactly What They Deserved

Some people never experience the repercussions of their acts for years, while others experience what we like to refer to as quick karma. That is the way the cosmos makes up for the good and evil things that individuals do. Prepare to witness some justice being served with this real-life example of the adage “what goes around, comes around,” whether you believe in it or not. These real-life incidents of individuals receiving what they deserve will make you laugh.

    Don’t Mess With a Marine

    Real Moments

This young man reasoned that it would be simple money to attack the home of an elderly man who appeared to be defenceless. He entered and brandished a knife, threatening the 73-year-old man and his spouse. However, what he was unaware of was that this man was in excellent physical condition and had previously served as a marine, boxer, and instructor in hand-to-hand combat. And it’s evident from the photo who prevailed in this conflict.

It’s likely that this young man never thought the break-in would end this way, but it proves that sometimes individuals do get what they deserve!

For Her, Karma Was Losing the Election

There is nothing more fulfilling than exacting a small, insignificant retribution on those who genuinely deserve it. Even though homosexual marriage is already legal, Kim Davis once turned down David Ermold’s application for a marriage licence on the grounds that he was gay. What did he avenge? He made the decision to run against her for office two years later. In this photo, he is seen signing up to challenge her for the position of county clerk in Kentucky while they are seated together.Kim Davis, who was vying to replace David as the current clerk, also lost the election. This was an instance of well merited karma.

In the Modern World, Karma Is Served Through WiFi

    Real Moments

When someone does something shameful, like the one below, they frequently attempt to hide behind a mask. These teens painted swastikas and other derogatory phrases all around campus while hiding their identities behind masks. They were swiftly apprehended, nevertheless, when it was discovered that their phones had automatically linked to the Wi-Fi and revealed all of their names, making it possible to identify and punish them.

This Bully Didn’t See It Coming

This is a sad but sweet story. Although it pains us to learn of bullying, it’s encouraging to know that there are people who band together to confront bullies, particularly when they aren’t the ones you would have thought. The individual who made this post clarified that their father was raised in a neighbourhood where gangs were prevalent. There was a young homosexual man living in that neighbourhood who tutored LGBT leaders for free.
As a result, when this young man was being bullied for being gay, the gang leaders banded together to defend him. You don’t hear stories like that too often.

There’s a Reason You Shouldn’t Park in Front of a Fire Hydrant

Have you ever wondered why parking in front of a fire hydrant is not a good idea? Here’s evidence, though, that you ought to abide by the rules even if you don’t fully comprehend or care about them. Instead of receiving a citation, this individual paid the price for parking in front of a fire hydrant illegally. The adjoining fire required access to the fire hydrant for the local firefighters to put out the flames.
They simply smashed the windows and disregarded the illegally parked automobile in order to finish the work because they weren’t going to let anything stop them from putting out the fire.

And That Was the Last Time He Didn’t Stop for Pedestrians

    Real Moments

There are plenty of terrible drivers out there who don’t even have the patience to stop at a crosswalk so that pedestrians can cross. This man drove, and he stopped in a way that was both responsible and compliant with the law. However, the person behind him became irate and began yelling and honking at him to get moving. Even as he waited for everyone to cross, the impolite driver attempted to past him.
This individual had no idea that the person he was attempting to pass was a police officer. This man received his rightful karma in a matter of moments.

24 Bars of Chocolate: $24, Price of Karma: Priceless

There are times when you have to stand up for what’s right and ensure that people receive the justice they are due. When a child started acting up and throwing a fit because his mother wouldn’t buy him the largest candy bar instead of the smaller one, this father was standing in line at the store. His mother stated she would buy the larger bar when they got to the register because she didn’t have the stamina to handle his outburst.

    An Unsuccessful Hit and Run

Hit-and-run incidents are merely dreadful. How can you wreck someone else’s car and ruin their life and then try to leave like nothing happened? Despite making mistakes, people frequently get away with their crimes and are never apprehended. But this individual was unable to escape unscathed. When they attempted to flee, their license plate became lodged in the vehicle they struck, giving the victim access to all of their personal details.
The owner of this red automobile appears to have had his or her back. The automobile made sure they were safe even though they were unable to obtain the contact information required to apprehend this individual.

When You Slap a Woman Not Knowing That She’s a Public Officer and Can Take You to Jail

    Real Moments

This attorney believed he would never be held responsible for his acts and that he could get away with anything. That’s the reason he smacked this woman without second thought. He had no idea, though, that she was in fact a state servant! Shortly after, the same woman—but wearing a uniform this time—presented him to the court after he had been arrested for his actions. This is her escorting him in handcuffs to the court.

He Better Hope He Doesn’t Come Across Any of Her Students

Brock Turner, a college student who assaulted a female classmate, was the subject of intense indignation. After his imprisonment in March 2016, this professor made the decision to put him in a textbook she was preparing, which was released the following year. Which chapter did she select in the textbook? a paragraph outlining what constitutes rape. That’s Turner’s face right next to it.

This Entitled Parker Faced the Wrath of the Zip Ties

Nothing is worse than spending endless time searching for a place to park only to discover that there would be plenty available if individuals didn’t want to abuse it for their own selfish ends. Consider the individual who opted to park carelessly and occupy several parking spaces. However, it appears that this woman was the target of retaliation when unknown individuals zip-tied shopping carts to her car, preventing her from leaving and trapping her there.

We Bet the Twins’ Mom Has Some Regrets

    Real Moments

Racism is evil, and some people don’t even try to disguise their cruel and racist views. When the time came for this woman to receive an epidural at the hospital, she refused to have it from the nurse who had come, saying, “There is no way she could be her nurse.” The epidural time window had elapsed by the time another nurse arrived, so she was out of luck.

She Tried to Kick Dust Onto Some Cyclists and Then This Happened

The numerous signs alerting cars to the presence of cyclists on the road and advising them to share the space appropriately have a purpose. But this woman chose not to pay attention or care, and she sped up, slicing through the cyclists and attempting to create a dust storm as she went. She appears to have driven a bit too quickly, flipping her automobile in the process.

Let This Serve as a Warning for Any Teenagers Thinking of Doing the Same

In life, it’s true that what goes around sometimes does come around. This woman admitted to her father that she was out of beverages and couldn’t afford to buy any for the next weekend. Giving her a big bottle from the kitchen, he was quite kind. He didn’t know that the girl had stolen the entire bottle when she was sixteen and replaced it with water, but he still felt it was a great gift.

This City Mayor Isn’t Afraid to Publicly Shame Any Naughty Citizens

Imagine that you believe it is okay to litter the ground and toss your trash out the window. And then picture yourself being so foolish as to do that while the mayor is following you in your car. It only goes to show how crucial it is to always act morally and appropriately, especially when you believe no one is looking, even if this person had no way of knowing it was the mayor driving behind him.

“And That, Kids, Is How I Met Your Mother”

    Real Moments

This could be among the most absurd news headlines you’ve ever seen. It almost seems too good to be real, like something straight out of a fairy tale! In Oregon, a woman driving a stolen vehicle was collided with by a guy operating a stolen vehicle. Not only does the coincidence seem even more bizarre, but the two individuals appear strikingly similar, almost like they could be twins.

When Having a (very) Dirty Car Comes in Handy

Have you ever imagined that one day you’d be so happy you forgot to wash your car? Who would have guessed that there would be a use for all that muck and dirt? When someone rear-ended them and left the scene without giving their details, this person definitely realised the advantages of keeping the car a little dirty. Their whole license plate was visible through the dirt.

Don’t Underestimate the Power of a Nauseous Pregnant Woman

Being pregnant is no joke. There are several discomforts and challenges associated with it, with nausea and vomiting being among the most prevalent and well-known. There were no seats left as this woman boarded the bus. She politely requested a man’s seat because she was pregnant and felt quite unwell. In an extremely impolite manner, he told her to stay standing and attacked women for desiring equality.

    Sometimes Honkers Have Good Intentions

In life, people often interpret situations incorrectly. They are too quick to become angry and irritated with those around them. When this woman heard the automobile next to her honking at her, she reacted very depressingly. She gave the woman the finger and drove off, not bothering to check if anything was okay. She would never understand that the woman was attempting to assist her.

Have Fun With the Bed Bugs!

    Real Moments

Even though it’s always immoral and bad, some people continue to steal as though it’s acceptable. As the man entered a restaurant to get something to eat, the stranger made the decision to steal the mattress that was in the back of his truck. They had no idea that they had taken the worst kind of mattress. This man had recently retrieved the mattress from a friend in order to get rid of the bed insect infestation.

    She Shouldn’t Have Been Shady

Among the karma in this list, this one is arguably the purest and cutest. This person placed rabbit ears behind their friend’s head in the shot in an attempt to make them appear ridiculous, but they were not aware of it. The girl also ended up having bunny ears behind her head in the picture, completing the bunny ear duet, because of the room’s lighting and shadows.

An Unexpected Alliance Between Uber and Lyft

This woman believed that she could get away with anything and that she would never be held accountable for her careless behaviour. She chose to violently cough all over her Uber driver—a move that, even before the Corona age, would have been seen quite offensive—and then she threatened to sue the company. Lyft made the decision to defend its rival and ban the rider from their community for good. She was not absolved of her actions.

Good Luck Getting Out of That One

This person’s parking decision is even more repulsive because, according to some, the buses are blood donation trucks and they parked in a medical zone. If that’s not the case, it’s also fairly frustrating to choose to park in such a huge area with such reckless abandon. Why is it that certain people are never able to park inside the lines? This person will, at the very least, have to think about what they did.

Even Chipotle Isn’t Exempt From the Laws of the Universe

    Real Moments

This is one of the rare instances where a company was made to answer for its actions and a compelling tale of how one person refused to be bullied by large conglomerates. This man was dismissed for allegedly stealing $626, a charge that turned out to be untrue. What was the most startling aspect? A contrived scenario on the lower echelons of the food chain. After suing the firm, she was awarded $8 million.

    The Taxi Driver Has Spoken

This message may appear a little unclear at first, but everything starts to make sense as you get to the last sentence. The taxi driver wrote this remark as a humorous form of retaliation against the customer who was nasty to him during the entire drive and even refused to pay the fare at the end of the trip since the man left his phone in the car.

  • “I Don’t Give A F*ck If You Think It’s Selfish Of Me To Say No To A Photo,” Chappell Roan Calls Out Entitled Fans On TikTok

“I Don’t Give A F*ck If You Think It’s Selfish Of Me To Say No To A Photo,” Chappell Roan Calls Out Entitled Fans On TikTok

If you’ve spent even a little time online over the past several months, you’ve probably heard of Chappell Roan, whether or not you’ve listened to her debut album The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess.

    Chappell

Although the singer, who was born in Missouri, has been recording music for almost ten years, her notoriety has unquestionably exploded since March of this year. After that, she went on tour as Olivia Rodrigo’s opening act, played Coachella, dropped her single “Good Luck, Babe!”, had the largest daytime set at Lollapalooza ever, and had her album, which has been out for almost a year, debut in the top 10 of the Billboard 200. She currently has about 40 million Spotify subscribers each month.

Both online and at her performances, Chappell has been extremely candid about how her quick ascent to stardom has impacted her life and mental health thus far. She addressed the audience in tears during a tour stop in Raleigh, North Carolina, saying, “I just want to be honest with the crowd.” I suppose it’s difficult to keep up with the rapid pace of my career, which is why I feel a little off today. To be really honest, I’m struggling right now.

Speaking about abuse from her admirers, Chappell said last month as a guest on Drew Afualo’s podcast The Comment Section, “People have started to be freaks — like, follow me and know where my parents live, and where my sister works.” Everything is so strange.” She revealed that she had made a self-promise a few years prior to this that she would leave if she started to get “stalker vibes” or thought that her family was in danger as a result of her admirers.

    Chappell

She continued, saying, “We are present. Honestly, I’ve slammed the brakes on anything that could increase my visibility. Right now, it resembles a forest fire.”

In an attempt to reach out to her followers directly, Chappell posted a video on TikTok today in which she asks them if they would treat a stranger on the street the same way they do. Would you shout at a random woman you saw on the street through your car window? Would you confront her in the open?”

“Would you stalk her family? Would you follow her around? Would you try to dissect her life and bully her online? This is a lady you don’t know, and she doesn’t know you at all. I’m a random bitch. You’re a random bitch.”

    Chappell

“I don’t care that abuse and harassment, stalking, whatever, is a normal thing to do to people who are famous, or somewhat famous,” she said in a follow-up video. The fact that this insane behaviour is a part of the profession doesn’t bother me. That doesn’t normalise it or make it acceptable.”

“Whenever you see a celebrity, I don’t want whatever the fuck you believe you should be entitled to. If you believe it’s self-centred of me to decline an embrace, a picture, or your time, I could care less. That isn’t typical. That is strange! It’s appropriate for me to refuse weird behaviour.”

21 “I’m Dating An Idiot” Stories That Are Sooooo Funny-

We previously included several anecdotes from folks who had dated someone who was, well, sort of dumb. Here are a few of the more entertaining “I’m dating an idiot” stories that BuzzFeed Community members shared in the post’s comments.

    1.

“She started giggling when we arrived to the dinosaur bones when we were on a trip to the museum. She asserted with confidence that dinosaurs never existed when I questioned what was so funny. She reasoned that since she had only seen them in cartoons, they couldn’t possible exist. She was twenty-two.”

    2.

“Back in high school, my ex-boyfriend believed that a woman’s monthly cycle was represented as blue liquid in advertisements for feminine goods. Couldn’t leave the relationship quickly enough.”

    3.

“My spouse and I were searching for a new vehicle. He wanted a convertible, and I wanted a standard automobile. He got upset with me for opening the sunroof on my car even though it was 74 degrees outside and sunny. He said his face was scorching from the sun. We didn’t purchase a convertible car.

    4.

“I informed him that I was arranging a trip to Australia with my best buddy. When he explained the duration of the flights, he asked, “You guys don’t want to drive there?” Our place of residence is Canada.”

    5.

We got into a heated argument about birds being mammals with my ex. She insisted that birds are mammals because they had warm blood, citing her experience as a marine biologist major as justification for her argument. It was late at night. Although I knew they were warm-blooded, I had to establish they were in their own category—BIRDS—by getting out of bed and using dial-up internet.”

    6.

“He had no idea what a toe was. I believed that my foot’s fourth toe was fractured. I showed him that it was swollen and bruised when he wanted to see it. ‘I thought you mentioned you hurt your toe?’ he asked. I indicated the discoloured toe once more and answered, “Yes, this one.” He gave it a long look, then turned back to face me, saying, “I thought only the big ones were toes.”

I’m still not sure what he believed the other objects were that were on the end of his foot. Perhaps he had simply never thought to ask? Alternatively, perhaps he saw them as pigs.”

    7.

“My ex-fiancé thought women just walk around with milk in their boobs, willy-nilly.”

    8.

As my former partner and I were becoming intimate, he abruptly jolted to his feet and said, ‘Oh my god, I felt a lump!’

    9.

He mentioned having a vaporiser, and we were going to smoke marijuana. This man takes out a HUMIDIFIER, puts some marijuana in the water basin, and doesn’t know how to turn it on to produce smoke.”

    10.

“My gender is masculine. In order for us to have sex and prevent her from getting pregnant, my date asked when I usually got my period. She was older than twenty-five.”

    11.

“I was introduced to one of my friend’s roommates, and we clicked immediately. A few weeks into our relationship, I went to pick her up for a performance, but she was still getting ready, so her roommates allowed me in. When I stepped in, there was a weird fragrance in the air, and they were all grinning and kind of laughing. Following a short while of small talk, her roommate—who happens to be my friend—couldn’t contain herself any longer and led me into the kitchen to show me something. A plastic bowl had melted onto the hob when I turned to face the stove. Using a Tupperware bowl to heat the mixture, my date attempted to prepare mac and cheese on the stove without supervision.

    12.

“This girl I dated was a grocery store employee. She informed me that she had questioned a Pennsylvanian customer on the veracity of vampire presence in the state.

    13.

As we were having fun, fully clothed, he gave me a dry hump. Once more, completely dressed. We came to an end, and he left. He came over crying and worried sick two days later. I enquired as to the situation. He wanted to see a doctor so that they could verify my pregnancy as a result of what ‘he did to me.’ Once more, we had only been dressed for two days. We were sophomores in college as well.”

    14.

“Guy invited me to a celebration of graduation. At that time, I had mono. He drove off the road after the party and bent over to give me a kiss. I mentioned that I have mono again. “Kissing cures mono,” he replied. “What?!”

    15.

“She was having a debate with an employee and finally said, ‘Vietnam isn’t a COUNTRY, it’s a WAR.’”

    16.

When my then-girlfriend Charles Whitman used firearms to execute mass murder atop the University of Texas clock tower in 1966, she exclaimed, ‘They should outlaw towers!’” Towers, not guns.

    17.

“I went to the Metro Zoo with four generations of women from her family while I was seeing a woman in her mid-twenties. My girlfriend, her mother, grandma, and her 7-year-old kid were all there. There was a big dinosaur exhibit in the zoo. We agreed to meet again in an hour, but I wanted to check out the reptile pavilion since I had already seen the display. They weren’t happy when I met them. I enquired as to the problem. The three elder ones exclaimed, “It’s just a bunch of skeletons; what a waste of time.” “The last dinosaur on Earth has been extinct for at least 65 million years,” I retorted.

    Dating

    18.

“My ex-husband asked me how the rice multiplies when I was preparing it. What does he mean, I asked? He believed the rice had grown to fill the saucepan. Numerous justifications for his ex-status.”

    19.

“One day, while a guy I was dating was spending a few days at my house, I saw that every time he made toast, he would take up the full toaster and move it across my spacious kitchen to use and plug it in. I questioned him about the reason for his actions after noticing them multiple times. In response, he said he was bringing the toaster closer to the bread loaf. After a moment of incredulity, I asked him if he didn’t think it would be a little easier to take the bread to the toaster. All it took for me to quietly retreat from this Einstein was the blank stare.”

“On our first date, the girl says she’s a vegetarian before we even get to the restaurant. No issue, I opted for a restaurant with a wide selection. She asks for a steak as we settle in. I wanted to know if she was a vegetarian. Yes, but this is from the meat factory, so it’s okay, she responds. Decades before the whole Impossible Meat frenzy, this occurred. The server gave me a sidelong glance and remarked, “I don’t think she’s going to work out for us, babe.” I played along and responded, “Probably not.” I got to have a great steak with the waitress on her break, who I eventually married, while the female got upset and fled.”
