Six Notable Nail Trends Seen On The Vogue World Runway If Sunday’s Vogue World: Paris is any indication, the adage “the devil is in the details” is accurate. Yes, the eyewear was on point—from tributes to Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel to Gigi and Kendall riding horses—but if you watch the livestream again, you’ll notice that the models had some amazing nail art.
Every manicure style you see here is the brainchild (and handiwork!) of Japanese manicurist Eri Narita. In addition to working on the natural fingertips of the models the day of the event, she made hundreds of press-on nails beforehand, hand-shaping and painting them. Narita used Bio Sculpture, her favorite gel brand (she claims it has the best color choices and staying power, thus it was the ideal choice for such a large event).
Narita not only adorned her own nails with the words “Vogue World,” but she also crafted simple, purple-noir nails, small nail charms, razor-sharp chrome nails, and three-dimensional, amorphous shapes. Enjoy some of the trendiest nail looks we saw in Paris, which are sure to soon become the newest nail styles.
