superstar in nail art situated in Brooklyn When Claire Beaudreault was a semifinalist in the Chanel/Seventeen Magazine Colour of the Year Contest, in which readers of Seventeen Magazine create original nail polish shades and one is selected by Chanel to be added to their cosmetics line, her love for nails began. Years later, she began painting nails as a hobby. She shared the patterns on Tumblr, which sparked interest in her work. She decided to pursue nail art full-time after being laid off from her day job in the IT business. She enrolled at international beauty school Christine Valmy and obtained her licence as a manicurist.
Her first job after graduating was helping celebrity manicurist Gina Edwards at a catwalk event for Betsey Johnson. Later on, Claire worked as the primary manicurist on lookbooks for Carven and Free People as well as presentations for Titania Inglis, Maki Oh, Levi’s, and most recently, Katie Gallagher. Publications like Women’s Health, Harper’s Bazaar Latin America, Creem, Schöen, and Refinery29 are among the ones she has edited.
Her favourite products to work with are Floss Gloss and MINE Luxury Lacquer. On the internet, David Bowie was the talk of the town. I believe someone made a gif of all of his looks on his birthday. Nevertheless, I completed a commission for a girl who desired to have every Bowie on her nails. And it was similar to my third nail art design inspired by David Bowie. Most likely not the final one!

My friend Jamie requested “cigarette butts.” “Are you planning to quit?” I asked. and he responded, “No.” Hehe. When someone has a theme in mind but isn’t expecting me to steal their exact nails—that’s called plagiarism—I adore this kind of challenge! And I wouldn’t purposefully harm another artist in the same way. However, as I mentioned before, the collective unconscious implies that many of us are simultaneously inspired by the same things. The little Marlboro “M” and the lipstick marks on one cig make me very proud.
These are my nails from last year’s Comic Con. My interest in pop culture is limited to Batman, Futurama, and Dr. Who. I suppose that I’m more of a dork than a nerd or geek. 😛

I was really inspired when I received these Floss Gloss colours. It ended up looking like jewellery made of turquoise. Working with Floss Gloss requires you to use their voice in your captions and hashtags! (many emoticons)
This young client of mine has gorgeous, long, natural nails. We frequently create amusing looks influenced by Tumblr.
Take a look at my mom’s gorgeous hands! And those are her actual nails. This manicure most likely didn’t chip for nine days! When she cleans the dishes or tends to the gardens, she wears gloves constantly. I attempted to recreate the “sunset-like” nails she mentioned seeing on a Japanese TV show, but I used a different colour palette.
